Rear drum question

Dana 35 is a 9 inch dana 44 (which you shouldnt have unless its aftermarket) is a 10 inch. Not sure about the 8.25.

I have seen 9" & 10" drums on D-35's(10" more likely on the pre 91 years) but never any 10"drums on a 8.25(they can easily be adapted though)

Most XJ/MJ D-44's I have dealt with have been 10"

Take one wheel off. Molded on the edge of the drum (facing you) should be the discard diameter.

If the drum is smooth, it should be 9". If it's got fins, it's 10".

Exactly as described ^.

I didnt know that dana 35's came with 10 inch... good to know. Mine were 9 inch and complete garbage until I got all new hardware

I believe that the police/gov't models received the "upgrade" drum size.
