I have a 2001 XJ with a Dana 30 axle up front could someone confirm the part number for the Dana Spicer ball joints. I have seen two different numbers for the Ball Joint kits. I also saw some U-tube video saying that you need to set a pre-load on the lower ball joint I think - is that true for a 2001 XJ

The funky preload thing is only for 80s and earlier stuff iirc. I've never had to use the parts included for it.
You need the ones listed for the XJ, not the "super" 30 balljoint kits listed for the WJ.
