PLEASE HELP!!! NO START!!! 97 cherokee sport 2wd auto

My daily driver farted out!!

I went outside yesterday to warm up my jeep since i havent driven it latley and it started JUST FINE... About 15 minutes later i noticed it idle very unusually... it was slowly getting worse over about 2 minutes . The jeep then randomly shut down and i can get it to do anything but run for 1 or 2 seconds.

This is a 97 4.0 jeep cherokee sport with 140k miles

1. battery is good
2.replaced grounds
3. replaced tps
4.replaced cps
5.no check engine light.....


please help !!!!

Check for spark and fuel pressure.

i have spark and fuel.

How did you verify spark? How did you verify fuel pressure? It's important.

But do you have fuel pressure?

IAC may be stuck closed, making it flood, or stuck open making it too lean. Try WOT on the gas peddle while cranking. That will dry it out if flooded.

Cap and rotor?

Check the fuses, like PCM fuses!!

Do you have HOT spark?

It should be BLUE.

As for fuel, you need two things--PRESSURE and VOLUME.
