I have an opportunity to get a 2 new hubs, one with 3000 miles, and one with 8000 miles for really cheap. Mine have never been changed as far as I know, and I was wondering how often they should be, I have like 188k on mine. Thanks...Christian

They should be replaced when they fail. I have an '88 XJ with 239,000+ miles on it. One side has been replaced twice, the other side is still running on the original. I also have an '88 MJ that had 96,000 miles when I bought it, and both hubs were gone at that time.
If you buy them, be sure they are for your year. Due to changes in brakes, rotors, calipers and such, there are two or three different hubs that vary slightly in depth/offset.

I don't know if mine have been changed or not, I just figured for 25 dollars each, they might be nice to have around. They are from and 85, but I checked on partsamerica.com, and they are the same part number, so I think they should work.
