My 99' sport cast wheels would not fit over the hubs on the XJ D44 I swapped in. I took a dremel and shaved the small amount that was stopping it from sliding on. If the way I ground it made it off center will the lugs still center it? I had some pretty bad vibes are varying speeds. Fairly smooth at 65+ as well. I didn't have these with the old 8.25.

XJ wheels are lug centric, not hub centric.

If you ground the wheels more than just a little, it is possible that you made them out-of-balance and you should probably get them rebalanced. If you ground anything other than the wheels, that is not the source of your problems.
