Believe it or not, after 247K miles, I'm having some problems with my BA 5/10 tranny. 
Not with the syncros, but rather with the shift linkage. The tranny is running just fine, but the linkage has become so worn that my new shift boot will pull it out of 1st and 3rd gear. The tranny remains engaged when I take the interior (visible from inside the cab) shift boot off. My question is, is this something that can easily be repaired, or is it time for a AX15 swap? I'd prefer repair for now due to budget, if the procedure is not to invasive.
