OE disc brake upgrade

Any certain rotor/pad combo anyone recommends, better than OE?

I don't want to do the wj swap, just simple bolt on. I have seen the black magic combo, but don't want to spend $200+.

Brakemotive has a kit for $85 shipped, so far, seems best option I can find.

nooo...i said "black" magic... jk..

after reading all morning, i've pretty much decided you can only polish a turd so much. if you want "real brakes" do the wj swap. otherwise, just stick to OE.

I drive my stock 97 in Los Angeles area traffic every day.

The Black Magic pads/Centric premium rotor combo is definately worth the money.

That combo is comparable to my 92 with Vanco brakes, WJ booster and 33" tires.

I have powerslots with blackmagic pads and they've worked well for the past 5 years but I'm after a little more braking still.
