Ok so i have a 98XJ im building, & the new winch bumper is on & i have a 10,000 Smittybuilt X20 10 winch with a roller fairlead going on it & need a few tips on making my own fairlead mount.
So far, im planning on making it out of 3/16 steel, cut to size, then weld away along with welding in a few gussets.
Now, is there an optimal distance it needs to be from the winch?? And does my plan seem strong enough??
