If your interested in the yacolt burn trails and want to hear for your self whats going on. Come out to LaCenter to the community center.
Department of Natural Resources Trail Advisory Group Meeting(TAG)
Meeting starts at 6:30 PM and usually ends at 8:30 PM
DIRECTIONS to La Center Community Center : - I-5 North & South - Take Exit 16 on I-5, turn East on to NW La Center Road. - Follow NW La Center Road, over a bridge. - Once you cross the bridge, turn right at the first intersection, that is 4th Street. (The main street of La Center). - After turning on to 4th, follow 4th Street through the town, past the Schools. - Just past the schools you will see ball fields, and a building. That is the Community Center. - Address is 1000 E. 4th St. (Right side of street). - There is plenty of parking.
The DNR hosts a meeting every-other first Thursday of the month for all of the user groups of the Yacolt Burn Forest to get together and discuss ideas and concerns about recreation and other activities taking place in the forest.
This meeting is open to anyone who is interested in the stewardship of the Yacolt Burn Forest. This meeting is a respectful sharing of ideas between users that will work towards a better recreation experience for everyone.
