motor swap question

I have a motor swap question I have an 01 wj 4.0l I had the head rebuilt. just picked up a bottom end (98 xj). I was told any HO motor from 91 up would work but had to use the 01 wj's 3 coil head. I went to put the block in and the 01's motor mounts don't match up on the block of the xj motor. Would something as simple as using 98 Cherokee motor mount brackets work or would I have to do any other fabrication? Thanks for the input, new to jeeps.

i know its not an "xj" build but im hoping someone can help. i have no info.

TJ/WJ 4.0L Engine blocks underwent clean sheet design changes effective in the 1999 WJ Grand and 2000 TJ Wrangler. These blocks are not interchangeable with XJ/ZJ engine blocks. The reason is motor mount bolt holes and belt driven accessory mounting bolt holes are in different locations, or not present at all, TJ/WJ vs. XJ/ZJ.
