No front left turn signal

96 XJ, rear left turn signal still works. Traced wiring back to the plug under the airbox, no power for the front left signal there. Where is the next place up the line to check?

If you can, maybe try to swap your flashers?

According to my wiring diagram the turn signal switch has two pairs of contacts, one for the fronts, and one set for the rears. If the diagram is accurate, the fronts also work the indicator lights on the dash. If you have no indicator, no front signal, and the rear works fine....I would say its the switch.

Indicator works, but flashes fast on left. All right lights work fine

If the wiring diagram I have is correct, then it would have to be an open in that wire somewhere between the switch and the bulb. Did you double check the ground too?
