i am in the process of switching over from the ba10 to the ax15 and i am not sure if i will be able to get my hands on a ax15 cross member.

could i just make a xcase drop using 1in square tubing?

could i use the ax15 cross member from a yj?

Why do you need a new X member?

IIRC, from the BA10 to AW4 swap I did on my 2nd XJ, all I had to do is move the stock X member back....or was if forward? Either way, if you look at the unirail where the X member bolts on, there will be 3 holes, which allow you to shift the X member forward or back, depending on your tranny type/length.

You may have to tap the inserts in the unibody.
Also will nedd to change the body side transfercase linkage bracket.

When I did my swap from ba10 to ax15 on my comanche I used the ax15 cross member.if yours is a 4x4 .I also used the transfer case from the ax15 because my ba10 had 21 spline output shaft.the ax15 had 23.also I had to use the 4x4 linkage I think it is longer. The 4x4 shifter it self is the same.I think that is it
