blower motor stopped working after jump start

94 XJ 4.0 HO, i had to jump start my dada POS mustang the other day and after i had him going and i jumped back in i noticed fan was no longer running. i pulled the fuse...good, do not see a relay under the hood for it? does it have a relay?i can kick on the A/C pump and hear the pump running.i do not know how to test electrical coneections on vehicles very well so any answers will have to be in depth as what to put the voltage meter setting on and where to test. thanks in advance for any help

Probably took out the ballast resistor behind the glove box. There may also be a relay under the hood that is out.
