Clutch master cylinder pin actuator

96' 4.0 I6 HO, AW-AX15 5-spd

Do they make longer aftermarket pins, mine seems to be to short as the clutch has to be pushed thru the floor to shift and 1 inch away b4 it engages, dont know what couldve caused this but I think thats what I need...unless anybody has other notions :lecture:

On that model the pedal has a side extension that actually does the pushing. Make sure there is nothing coming loose or bending there. A weld failure at the top is fairly common here and when it occurs the pedal will not push far enough. I'm on wrong computer here, but will look later if need be for a picture of a non-bent 95 pedal. I got rid of my 95 but the picture remains somewhere. The side arm should be pretty much in line with the main pedal shaft.
