I have 92 4.0 w AX15 and Np231 is it appropriate to run a gl4 75w85 in the tranny the lune place suggested gl5 but everything I read says uuNO???

Do *NOT* run GL5 in an AX15. The sulfur additives will corrode the brass synchronizers.

I run Redline MT90 in mine.

Thx put in the GL4 in a 75w85 seems to shift better already!! Was having hard time going into 2nd!!

this is true for the AX5 as well, no?
