How do you guys go about opening your hood when they break and wont open? The drivers side will open but the passenger side wont, any ideas on how to open it?

Get a friend with long skinny arms to reach up and pull the actuating rod.
If the cable is still intact, but the left side is sticking, try hitting that corner while someone else works the cable.

remove driver's side headlight and bucket. reach in and pull on the rod that connects the two latches. that should open it.

Mine does the same thing. Haven't fixed it yet but what i do is lift up on the drivers side that opened and rear in and pull on the rod to get the other side to pop.

If you pull the headlight supposedly you can get to the two screws (one horizontal, one vertical) that hold the other end of the latch in place.
I usually reach up from underneath through the path of the fans and belts to grab the latch rod though. Easier if your e-fan and/or shroud are missing.
