Dumb OTK question...

So if one were to do an OTK 1 ton steering upgrade, the steering damper is just abandoned, and no longer needed, correct?

The steering dampener can be retain by adding a bracket to the draglink, but as has been stated many, many times before....

A properly aligned vehicle does not require a steering dampener.

Keep in mind that an OTK steering system (1 Ton Chevy) will require that the trackbar to be moved over the axle, the drivers side coil bucket will need to be trimmed, and the OEM swaybar mounts will need to be removed and replaced with mounts that won't limit the tie-rod movement.
