new oil pan doesn't fit.. anyone have the same issue?

I work at a parts store and looked up the dorman oil pan more than once. I have an 89 cherokee with non h.o. 4.0. Got it in this weekend and two bolt holes don't line up just right and its leaking after use and re tightening of the bolts.. Before I go warrantying the pan has anybody else had the same issue and if there's a trick for fitting it properly.. Thanks

Its a Dorman part I wouldn't expect anything less.
