I have a quick tip for those of you who have trouble with axle nuts on the front hubs of XJ's....AIR HAMMER!! Takes 2 seconds and loosens the nut right up.. new axles come with new nuts so destroying the old one doesn't hurt . saves lots of time and broken tools . Oh and don't ever put u joints back in ..they make c v joint axles for all the jeeps now ..and they hold up fine..

Agreed... I haven't had to use more than a few feet of cheater pipe EVER and I break ujoints, why would I ever use weaker CV shafts?

The exception would be RCVs but I don't feel like dumping a thousand bucks into a dana 30.
