Stupid tire question

just picked up a set of Nitto Grapplers 285/75/16's on C'list for 25 bucks
3 are in decent shape, one is pretty bald. Is it worth my money to just buy one on discount tires for $219. I've never really heard anything about them before but they look nice

i like having even treaded tires on the same axle. id buy 2 new ones, and use one of the 3 for spare.

This is what I'd do. But Nitto makes a pretty good tire, as for how they'll do offroad, it depends. WHICH grapplers? Dura Grapplers, Tera Grapplers, etc.

My best friend and wheeling partner runs that exact tire in that exact size. It does surprisingly well and he's not managed to flat one yet.

Most of the time he's wheeling with Cracker and I on 37" MT/R's, and while I can't say he's never had to winch.. the tire was never at fault.

I'd not hesitate to buy two more and run them.
