PS pump years

What years of power steering pumps could swap into a 97? Looking at Morris 4x4 which didn't clear things up as they have some ranging from 84-01, 97-00 etc

The bracket design changed from 95 to 96, which requires different pumps. I am not sure but I think it may have changed again 96 to 97. Those are the only significant ps pump changes I know of - these apply only to 4.0L, I don't know the 2.5L accessory setup well.

If you look at the details on Morris' site, there is only one pump listed that fits a 97 (96-01) with 4.0 and Left Hand Drive.

That pump is not XJ specific, BTW, and was used on other Dodge/Jeep vehicles, and probably some GM cars as well.

I didn't look too close. I was surfing it on my phone while trying to get my baby girl back to sleep.
