Looking for crawler/soft 8 style wheels? Or aluminum? What about OEM wheels from some FWD GM cars?

Offset is gonna be a bitch for crawler/soft 8 style wheels........ otherwise, they're gonna RUUUUUUBBBB..... :D

Something black is biggest thing.

Yes soft 8 is ideal. alloy is ok since it wont be wheeled, just for camping, exploring and shooting.

ya needs pretty high bacspacing. but if not thats coo, wont be runnin too large of a tire size. something in the 31-32 range.

Maybe find a set of ZR2 S10 wheels/tires?

I gotta think you're gonna need to lift it to fit a 31"/32" tire though.......

These earlier S10 4x4 wheels can usually be found pretty cheap at the UPAP's. Scuff and shoot 'em black:

I hate the design. Its just not my thing at all.
I should clear the tires just fine. Here is a rough pic. Those are 30x.9.50's and I have TONS of extra room at full lock and flexed (can I say that in relation to a blazer?)

This guy on the S10 forums had to do a torsion bar "crank up", AAL on the rear in order to fit 31's with crawler wheels - wheel offset is the real issue:

Which is fine for a few reasons.
1 - he prolly has 4" BS or less on those. (which I might have to go with unless i find some alloys.
2 - my keys are just about all the way down and the front sits a lil low and rides like a boat.
3 - rear will clear fine up to what I figured to be a 33. 32's or 265's would be perfectly what im lookin for.

Well fwiw, my search over on Blazerforum.com didn't result in any searches regarding 31" tires without at a minimum of a maxed out torsion bar crank and shackles or AAL.

Hope you find something that works!
