Door interchangeabilty

I drive a hatchback

Hi all I need a new door after a run in with a guard rail. Can you take an older door with the 2 piece windows and change them over to the 97+ windows and door panels. I have a 2 door and found a guy in Milwaukee that has 89 and mines a 98. Do the latches line up? Can the glass and interior panels be swapped?

my buddy did it to his the latch is a simlpe six bolts but im pretty sure he had to weld the striker to the door jam...

I've got an 89 two door and need a couple of good solid doors - if you don't take them let me know who has them. thanks.
 
far as I know, the internals won't line up at all. I could be wrong though.
