help installing cb radio

hey ! silly question. anybody have any suggestions on mounting locations for a cb? pictures would be awesome. i think i have a cobra 29 nw classic. Thanksss ))

I had mine on the passenger side of the center console right by the passengers knees, but my next on my next XJ it's going between the visors on the roof. It was hard to hear it on the center console because the speaker was buried on the carpet. I actually had to get an external speaker for it so I could hear it.

I run a full size CB so my mounting option are a bit limited, but other popular choices are the dash by the drivers right knee, console on the drivers side, and in the cubby of the console.

Here's where I mounted mine, the location you are considering. I now have a new Cobra 29ltd mounted up there though, this is the old beater.

i want to find a black center council, and that is where i will relocate my CB to for sure.

I mounted mine where the stock radio was.

I removed the over-sized stock radio and replaced it with a standard sized radio, and was able to fit a small CB under the new radio (with a little trimming on the bezel).
