Some funky stuff going on under the hood

The other day my 98 4.0 XJ left me stranded at the mail box of all places :roflmao:. I pulled the plugs, they were TOAST! Replaced plugs, wires, and cap. XJ started right back up. But when I give it some throttle, it starts to sputter and pop real bad! Pretty sure I put the plug wires back on the cap in the right order (but not positive). It idle's pretty good so its only under throttle that this happens. Any Ideas as to what I need to be looking at?
Thanks!

Im pretty sure the order is stamped on the block, manifold or head?

Maybe that was a chevy lol

it's cast into one of the intake manifold runners near the front. Order for a 6cyl Jeep is 15 36 24 - "too young, too old, just right" is a good way to remember this.
