Replaced alternator now No Start

99 XJ 4.0 auto 4x4 225k
Just changed out my 3rd alternator in 6yrs, got check engine and check gauge light, checked all connections and tried to start, crank but no start, pulled a spark plug to check fire...neg results. Reset computer?
