Leaf springs moving....

I have re 5.5 lift and my rear leafs are not aligned. On both sides the first couple leafs are sliding out. Can I loosen them up hammer them back aligned or do I have bigger issues?

as long as they are pivoting from the center there is no big issue, just hammer em back together. Get clamps like bdiamond mentioned and you should be fine.

Yes, they are pivoting because I'm getting equal movement in the opposite on the two ends. Thanks!

I would also check the torque on your U bolts.

I dont run clamps.. just hammer em back in line.

Yeah, its connected with the u-bolts because about a year ago I added a bump stop and had to un-bolt the u-bolt.
