Have to do front brakes on my 97 Sport. Pads are almost worn to the backing plate. I have done the ThermoQuiet pads on past vehicles and they were quite good, so I'd like to run them now.
Question is, they come in Semi-Metallic and Ceramic, so which do I run? I've heard the Ceramic are no good for off-road use, yet in my research some have run them with no problems. My heep is about 75% on-road and 25% off.
If it makes any difference, I'm going to swap out the rotors since I'm already gonna be doing the pads.
