Lights and rear hatch struts

Installed some hella fogs, KC HiLites 130 watt, 8" Driving lights, and put new rear hatch struts on today. A few hours of easy wrenching with some annoying wire routing/cheap wire loom hassles. All in all, a great way to spend the afternoon!

The hatch opens like new, and I don't have to hold it up with my head anymore!!! Now I'm off to aim the lights.

Do you have a part number/brand for the struts for the lazy? :laugh:

I just went to NAPA and asked for replacements for my 2001. Easy swap with a new ball joint fitting on the door. Makes it easy to get JY struts when these die.
