Remfd Engine?

Would this be a good buy?

I'm just doing my research for a replacement engine on my 99 with is having some issue....mainly low compression.

Appreciate if someone can advise.

If your 99 was built late in the production run it could have the 0331 head which is prone to cracking and causing low compression. If you could post up the compression numbers for each cylinder it would be useful to help diagnose your problem. Personally given the large number of used 4.0's around and their longevity I wouldn't buy a re-manufactured engine.
