T-Case linkage

Finally got transfer case linkage hooked up for my XJ. It is an 86 that originally had the 2.8/ba10/207 and now has a 93 4.0/ax15/231. Needless to say the linkage didnt cross over. I bought some 3/8x24 ready rod and 4 heim joint rod ends to match. The company i bought it from does have the left/right thread rod with hex in between but the lengths didn't work and it was more expensive.
Since the shift lever was almost on top of the t-case lever, directly connecting the two was out. This is what i came up with. It works very well and its nice to be able to shift into 4 without gettting under the jeep.

I got it all at McMaster-Carr. mcmaster.com

Looks like it will work. The question I have is about the stock lever. It doesn't seem to be in the OEM position because of the missing bearing bracket on the tunnel. Did you move it?
