Worn out?

Would this cause problems with ride quality? When leaving my drive way, I put it in reverse and you can feel a clunk when the transmission engages. Is this bushing the culprit?

I'd say the clunk is your rear ds ujoints, or possibly gears. But that is an issue that should be addressed.

Another high quality RE bushing bites the dust.
Probably not the cause of your clunk but I bet it causes other problems like wandering or darting when braking.

RE supposedly has a better bushing available now.

If it were the u joints or gears wouldn't it be noticeable in more than just when I reverse? :worship:

The steering is kind of sloppy now that you mention it. Isn't there some sort of adjustment nut on the steering box? I'm hoping to get some new shocks and all the bushings replaced on it here pretty soon.
