1998 xj, aw4, trans cooler and temp guage, 4.88s and 35s
For the last 2 days my aw4 has been slipping very bad in every gear after it heats up a little past 150 and slips more the hotter it gets When its cold it shifts fine and seems normal. About a month ago it had a bad od stolenod and i replaced all 3 with junk yard stoleniods from a 93. When its cold they all test around 14.4 ohms and when thier hot when it starts slipping they all test around 17 ohms. Only codes i have are p0700 and p0740. Tps was replaced with stoleniods. With out tcu it does not drop rpms from 3rd to D manual shift. Fluid still looks fine. Should i try brand new stoleniods or its time for a rebuild?
