cant open hatch no key!

so who has a trick when you lose your key to open the rear hatch and buy a new lock? 89 xj!

A search with "hatch" will give you more information than you ever wanted to know.

I haven't reread the posts concerning options for re-keying but you can get a new mechanism from teamcherokee.com for ~$27. This unit includes the switch for the cargo dome light which you can add if you don't already have one.
