So about a month ago i picked up a new RC 4-6 adjustable track bar and just after recently installing it, a few wheelin trips and constant re-tightening of the axle side bolt, it keeps popping and binding. i've checked every bolt and nut but cant seem to find the problem. i can feel it popping when i put my hand on the hem-joint while someones turning the wheel. here's the track bar http://www.roughcountry.com/jeep_xtras_1079.html . anyone else have this problem or know a possible solution?

Check the bolts on the trackbar bracket.

Check that the hole in the axle bracket is not enlarged or ovaled out. Get new hardware for the axle end, and use LocTite thread lock.

Consider getting a real double shear track bar with solid bushings at both ends, like the one Iron Rock Off Road makes. - http://www.ironrockoffroad.com/Merc...=IROR&Product_Code=IR-STBCK&Category_Code=PFX
this would be where id start...

break out the calipers and check. my stock bolt, stock mount, and sleeve on my RE track bar were 3 respectively different sizes. i drilled it all to match and added my own bolt.

Alright, i appreciate all the advice. im going to hopefully tackle this job tomorrow once i get some free time. hopefully its nothing big, but untill i win the lottery im stuck with this one lol.

Doesn't the heim end of the bar go up in the frame side bracket? Based on how you worded your post, I assume the heim end is bolted to the axle bracket. Looking at the pix on RC's webpage, there's a bend in the bar at the poly bushing side and that is usually done to clear the axle bracket when drooping the driver's side tire.

Make sure the bolt sizes are correct.
