Rear Hatch Leak

I have an 88 cherokee. It has a water leak somewhere in the rear right quarter panel from above. I have replaced the rear hatch seal and still have a leak. It may be a side or rear window seal, but I cant tell exactly where. Has anyone had similar experiences. Any input is greatly appreciated. Thanks

Body shop trick--dust the entire seal with talcum powder. Close hatch, and run garden hose over outside thoroughly.

SHut off hose, let Jeep "drip dry". Then open hatch. Water leak area on weatherstrip seal will have talcum powder washed away.

A couple of other possible areas include seam crack/metal fatigue in the gutter area, and leaking well nut from roof rack mounting.
