I did a search and found nothing.
I have a 1992 auto, 242, 8.25 2 inch BB (about 10 years old) 30 inch GSA’s. When in high gear and the converter locks up (about 50-55 MPH) I get a rumble noise. I checked and replaced the front U-joint (rear shaft) the yoke bushing and seal, rear shocks and right axle bearing. I thought the noise was coming from the right rear. It still does it. It sounds now that it is in the center about the seat area. No noise till about 50-55.
Hope someone can point me in the right direction.
