what year battery holder will work in my 99 jeep cherokee sport 4.0?
Is there any alternitves that some of you have used? thanks
 
yea a junkyard one but i would like a oem one and just wondering about others do all years fit the same or do i need to get a 97-01

mine was damaged in a crash and now has somthing holding it on that im not happy with and would like to order one off of ebay
 
While there are several aftermarket manufacturers which address the installation of other than stock sized batteries; most of them are expensive by comparison to just purchasing a used battery tray.
If you donot have any JYs near you; have you checked with RockAuto or Crown Auto for the factory replacement??
 
Yes, I checked rock auto with no luck. Thanks for the site. I have a junkyard to go to. i just need to know what years of xjs i can pull one out of. that will bolt right up to my 99 jeep cherokee sport
 
Ballistic fab has a universal battery tray.
 
"battery holder" Is a little fuzzy....

Are you looking for the battery tray, or the hold down bracket?



Edit: Regardless, it looks like '97 and up only, whichever part you need....
