ultrasonic cleaning injectors

Can I just drop my fuel injectors into my ultrasonic cleaner? I bought neon fuel injector's for my Jeep from the bone yard and want them cleaned before I install them. I do not have a pigtail to activate them.

Personally I would just run a can of BG44k in the gas. That will clean them better than anything else you do.

If your looking for something cheaper available at Advance. I have had noticeable performance increases by running a can of techron in my gas tank.

They are not in my Jeep yet. I was wondering if I'd screw up the injectors submerging them in my ultrasonic cleaner? I will run the BGK-44 once I install the injector's.

If they have been sitting outside in a fuel rail for several months the will most likely be clogged/shut. Best bet is to send them to a professional cleaning service.

Well hell with it I give it a shot with one. I paid $20 for all 8. Worse case scenario I fry one.
Paying someone else to clean them would be fine but by the time I do that and get them back I could have bought refurbished ones. They get $25 a piece +shipping to clean them.

Cleaning won't do any good if you can't back flush them, remove the filter and fire them while being cleaned
