mystery plug on front bumper

Does anyone know what this plug goes to? It is underneath the front bumper

IIRC that is for the outside temp sensor for the overhead console.

All XJs come equipped and wired for it? mine never had the console

The main wiring harness is the same for all the models in a given year. There may be some sub-harnesses for options, for instance the O.H. console wiring may not go up the windshield pillar if you don't have the console, but the plug will be under the dash and probably labeled.

I just discovered the rear door power window and lock wiring on my TWO DOOR with manual windows and locks.

If you don't have footwell lights and tweeters under the dash, pick some up from the J.Y. and plug them in, the wires are already labeled.
