SS brake line Q

I have some stainless steel brake lines from Crown (bought through Quadratech) that have been on my Jeep for a couple years now.

The plastic laminate around the stainless braiding is cracked through or even missing in a couple places.

It doesn't seem like a safety issue, but I don't know much (anything, really) about SS line construction. Thoughts?

My RE are even like that, I've yet to see a ss brakeline used for a good amount of time still have the clear plastic coating still completely intact.

X2. The amount of abuse these go through is amazing.
