Finally getting around to mounting my WJ control arms on the XJ. And of course I ran into a problem. Not that the bushing sleeves need be shaved down. Did that, and they slide into the pockets just fine.
If I try installing with the oblong shaped bushing to the rear, I cannot make the wholes line up. If I turn it around the shape severely will limit downward travel.
they are aftermarket arms purchased new from Rockauto.
Is there more shaving I need to do on the arms themselves? Don't want to negate any advantage of the WJ arms or weaken them.
