to give me a ride from Denver to MOAB.

I guess no one is cruising through Denver to MOAB on Monday. So could anyone give me a ride if I fly out on Sunday? I'll help with gas, party favors, free soap, whatever it takes to get me there.

If anyone jacks this thread, there will be Hell to pay! I need to book the flight that is on hold and I really don't want to hitchhike.

Thanks,

Flowers

Ding, ding, ding. We have a winner. Fly in on Sun. enjoy the casinos for the day, the bunny ranch for the evening, and then get Mark to pick your broke ass up :D

I still think you should stop this nonsense of jobs and business and ride out with us. What's another couple days? Yeah, I'm the devil's playmate.

Last year, my brother from Cincinnati went with me to Moab. I live in SoCal, and the best connection we could make was for him to fly into Las Vegas and I picked him up there.

Mark's idea may be the best one. Plus, those CO folks are bad about showing up. ;) :D :D :D

I've got a friend that is planning on driving from Southern Idaho Sunday. That would put him in SLC around noon or a little later. I can't remember your shedule and I'm too lazy to read it.

As far as I know he's driving by himself and will be heading back Friday. PM me if your interested and I can try and get more details from him.

It's no fun to plan this early. :)

I'm a little confused here, not sure how being in SLC could help someone out thats in Denver.

If I missed something and you will be in SLC or something, I'll be going through SLC on Tuesday with an open seat.

I'll only take the free soap if it's Dove for sensitive skin :D :D :D

Flowers,
You wanna drive one of the competition XJ's to Moab? I am in Ft Collins about an hour or two north of DIA but could probably arrange to leave the XJ in the parking lot of one of the hotels near Tower Rd, and you could catch a ride on the hotel bus to the hotel, grab the Jeep and head west.

Email me at GBarclay@aol.com if you are interested.

Xj will be a 89 auto, 31's with a plasma lift, good running order, crappy interior. I'll even kick in half the gas money.

I believe originally he was looking for a ride from SLC or Denver. I didn't follow the threads to see where that ended up.

tim is from illinois....

he doesn't care where he flies to......

las vegas would probably be cheapest. I think he said denver was cheaper than slc......

he's just hoping to catch a ride....nice to see so many responces here, all you folks willing to help a brother out.

tim is without jeep righ now...he has BIG plans, unfortunatly for him, summertime is his busy-crazy time.....fall and winter are the only times he can invest in his jeep......

be lookin' out for a wild MJ to come out of the Infinite shed sometime soon.

I went ahead and e-mailed my friend to see what his plans were. I think a hippie and hick would be a good match, then through Beezil (city boy) into the mix and it could be interesting. :)

The only problem is Flowers would have to ride down in a Toyota and only the Swampers for entertainment (no radio).

I would have spoke up earlier, but I just found out his plans for departure a few nights ago.

Oh I see now, he's flying SOMEWHERE from Illinois......and needs a ride. That makes sense :D

Anyway, looks like both Lincoln and I have the means to get him there from SLC if it comes down to it.

I will be going through SLC sometime midday on Tuesday, and have an empty rig. Oh, and I have a big stereo :D

I think Grant's plan may be the winner. I'll PM you my cell and we can chit chat.

Thanks for the all of the offers. Time is really short and important to me right now. I'm actualy fortunate to be able to take a few days and head out west.

Thanks

Like I said before.
Amtrak to Green River.
Under $40.00.
Call the campground, and someone will come and get you.
Just a thought.
Thanks,
Dan.
PS The train isn't that bad. :scared:

It that doesn't work out let me know. My friend said it wasn't a problem and the Parents, wife and I will be spending Saturday night in the SLC area.

I almost had to resend the offer after reading Beezil's post "he's a good guy, I'll vouch for him any day.....". That scares me. :D
