Cooling fan

No, it should not. If it does, replace the e-fan relay.

The reason I ask is...
On some vehicles the cooling fan will continue to run after the engine is shut down.
Sometimes in the Jeep I will turn off the engine for a few minutes, restart and the cooling fan will come on immeadiately. I can't help thinking that the fan should continue running if it kicks in the moment I restart. Anyone else?
 
You can buy and install an e-fan timer that runs the fan after the key is turned off. There are threads here on the timer and how to install.
 
thanks Tim, I had seen it but I'll give it a closer look.
The good news is no "heat soak" issues since my last tune-up!
