Help! 90 Limited both power seats quit working

Both of my power seats quit working, but they were both working a couple of days ago. According to the fuse diagram, the fuse is #11 and is shared with the power doorlocks. However, the doorlocks are still working. Any suggestions? Thanks!

It should be two wires- one ground, one +12V to each seat. Since both seats seem to not work, im guessing the power (+12V) is lost somewhere. to test that, take a volt meter or light tester and touch it to the two wires in the seat harness under the seat.

IIRC, there is a wire harness from the dash along the tunnel that splits between the seats under the carpet with a connector. The connector may corrode over time causing the failure. One approach is to create a new power/ground feed from under the DS dash along the sill to the seat. Otherwise, you may have to gut the interior to get to the wire under the carpet.

have had the same problem in mine, hopefully they didint lock up over your seat mounting bolts, cuz that is a pain in the A#@.

Power Seats

DESCRIPTION
A 3-armature permanent magnet reversible motor is coupled through cables to rack and pinion assemblies, located in the tracks.
This system provides 6 different movement directions. Circuit is protected by a 30-amp circuit breaker on the fuse block.

TESTING
PRELIMINARY CHECKS

Ensure battery is fully charged and all electrical connections are clean and tight. Turn on dome light. Attempt to operate seat with switch in all positions. If dome light dims, seat motion is attempting to function, indicating mechanical failure. Check and repair as necessary. If dome light does not dim, proceed with the following tests.
HARNESS VOLTAGE

Disconnect switch harness connector, located under seat.
Connect ground lead of test light to terminal No. 2. Touch other lead of test light to terminal No. 1. If test light comes on, circuit is good. If test light does not come on, check circuit breaker and harness.
