Temp sensor wiring/splicing

So I just recently got news of why my temp sensor isnt working. I was wondering if anyone knows how to splice in my block sensor into my thermostat housing sensor.
I have a newer head and an older block. So there is no hole for my sensor to thread into on my head.
Any ideas would be great thanks.

There is a Thermo sensor for the Tempgauge and there is a tempsensor for the motormanagement!
