Terrible binding noise turning to the left

I hear a terrible binding noise coming from the left front tire and i cant pin point what it may be? It only happens when i turn sharp left, im not turning all the way but almost. any ideas?

Have a 4.5" lift 33x12.5r15 open country toyo MT, 1990 jeep cherokee laredo.

I know its hard to say from the vague description but ideas on what to look at would be great.

Axle u joints like to make all kinds of noise when there toast.

check your lower control arms for signs of the tires rubbing them. Mine do all the time and sound like a binding noise.....and thats befor I am turned fully


And yes that is the u-joint he is referring to.
