Began tearing down a 96 XJ SE to do a restoration of it and try to bring it back to factory spec sand it looks like someone did a little hammer modulation frame repair where the front bumper mounts to the frame.
I would like to be able to undo what they did, ( looks like they tried to bang it back into shape and then just tack welded some mounting tabs on ) and bring it back to factory spec condition.
Where can I can factory frame dimension measurements without having to take it to some frame shop and pay too much to do what I think I can do here.
Would this info be in a service manual?
I am about to get one off the net, but it looks like the guy selling it fed part of it to his dog. It's be cool to get one that was never used, but at this date I guess that's not possible.
