A horn question *beep beep*

The driver side horn on my 1999 XJ is sick and needs to be replaced. When I was shopping for replacements, all the parts catalogs show two different horns: a low and a high tone. Is one of them a high tone and the other a low tone, or are they both high or both low tone? I plan on replacing them both anyway, but I just want to have it sound like it did from the factory. So do I buy one of each or both highs or lows? Many thanks for your help.

Where do you find replacements?

Mine slowly went from a beeep to a click when I push the steering wheel.

I have some shotty wiring in my heep though..when I push the horn my stereo clicks off lol.

I yanked both of my horns and put in one "beep-beep" type horn, like what is used on the old CJ's. It sounds like a Jeep horn and not just another SUV horn.

I will be pulling mine and install an air horn.

Should be one low and one high tone. I just replaced mine with these Napa parts:

I think it might be a little higher note than original, but it is loud, inexpensive and USA made.

Thanks for the great info. Anyone have any experience with the Autozone replacement horns? I want it to sound as near to stock as I can get without spending $40 a piece from a dealer.
