89 4.0, if the motor is at idle and you disconnect the O2 sensor should there be a change in the way the motor idles / runs? Also is this the best way to check if its any good or not?

With a renix jeep if you don't know how old the O2 sensor is just replace it.

It will run better,cleaner,and get better mpg.
